Distinguishing Characteristics
This is a shrub grows to 2 metres high and has smooth stems. New growth is hairy or sparsely hairy.
Leaves are long narrow, lance to narrow-elliptic shaped, the same colour of green on both sides, hairless, with entire and slightly undulating margins.
Inflorescence (a group of flowers) is single flowered or in groups, and flowers are white and star-shaped.
Fruit is a bright orange-red berry and 10 - 15 mm in diameter.
